Student’s Union building for the University of the West of England


The £9.8m, 3,000 sq m development, which sits in the heart of the new and expanding masterplan of the University’s Frenchay campus, comprises of two interlinked buildings that bring all of the Student’s Union services to one accessible location.


The larger of the two buildings houses a number of offices, meeting rooms, a radio hub and a commercial unit, as well as open plan spaces for students to work collaboratively, or socialise, as well as bookable studio space.


The smaller of the two buildings provides a double height social space, with a large bar area, balcony café and leisure area. A vertical timber feature dominates the space, with a distinct visual quality that reflects the unique and original style that can be found within the social scene of Bristol.

Neonatal Unit - Singleton Hospital Swansea

This Project involved the provision of a new Neonatal unit in Singleton Hospital Swansea. The work was carried out under the Abertawe Bro Morganwg University Health Board partnering services. 

This project was carried out over a period of 13 months. Mechanical and Electrical services design included General lighting installation, emergency lighting installation, fire alarm system, ICT technology, access control, UPS/IPS systems, life signs monitoring, sub-main distribution, final distribution boards, general small power, HWS & CWS systems, mechanical ventilation systems, Hot and Cold water services, medical gases and BMS system.

Members Pavilion at the Royal Welsh Showground Builth Wells

Commissioned as a design and build contract this new build development on the site of the RWSG in Llanelwedd replaced an old dilapidated building and now provides meeting catering and administrative facilities for members and events throughout the year

Performance Duties for the refurbishment of the office accommodation at the Royal Chambers in Newport, South Wales. The second floor of the building was totally refurbished to office, training rooms and meeting rooms for Coleg Gwent.
