Mortuary Refurbishment Morriston Hospital Swansea

Carried out as part of the Abertawe Bro Morgannwg University Health Board Partnering Framework.

The scheme involved detailed survey work and close cooperation with end user groups, mortuary equipment providers and specialist contractors to determine the best fit options for the project. Services included, heating, ventilation, cooling, refrigeration, water services, lighting, emergency lighting, power, fire alarms, and call systems.

Children’s Development Centre Singleton Hospital, Swansea

The key challenge of this project was to create a non-clinical environment within the unit, even though it was part of the main hospital. This was done through careful consideration of the interior design scheme.

The beach theme is evident in the key public spaces, along with the clinical areas and external playground. The final scheme was the result of close cooperation between the design team and Clinical staff.

Neonatal Singleton Hospital

This project involved the upgrade of facilities for the Maternity department of the hospital in Swansea. Consultancy services were provided for the for heating, ventilation, cooling, water services, lighting, emergency lighting, fire alarm, safety call systems and medical gases.

The work was carried out under the Abertawe Bro Morgannwg University Health Board Partnering Framework.

The Neonatal Unit in Singleton is seen as the flagship Neonatal unit with MEP systems designed by DRAC.

Neonatal Prince Charles Hospital

The project includes a complete modernization of the exiting ward areas and providing new ICU, HDU and SCBU facilities. The included two birthing pools and a complete refurbishment to the rooftop plant room.

The design used the Singleton project as a template although the final design was the result of close collaboration with the design team, client and end user team member.
