BBC Wales Broadcasting House Central Square

Appointed as Independent Certifier and Independent Commissioners for Phase 1 of this project. We are also appointed for Phase 2 as NEC Supervisors for the BBC fit out contract.

The scheme for developer Rightacres with Contractor ISG sees the new headquarters for BBC Cymru Wales designed by signature Architect Foster and Partners

Set to provide the BBC with a new home in a key location- opposite Cardiff Central Railway station- the new 150,000sq ft. building includes floor floors encompassing office, studio and production space, providing office space for over 1,200 BBC Wales staff.

Swansea Waterfront Innovation Quarter

Appointed as Supervisor under the NEC for the first phase of the overall £300 million development. Phase One of the Swansea Waterfront Innovation Quarter comprises of the Faculty of Architecture, Computing and Engineering as well as a new Library building, with an approximate area of 12,200 sq. m together with external public spaces.

As a major part of the university’s multi-million-pound investment in Swansea, UWTSD has acquired sizable areas of the remaining development land in the SA1 Waterfront area.

Hafan Y Coed, University Hospital Llandough

The project was for the provision of a new Adult Mental Health Unit for Cardiff & Vale University Health Board. The project is viewed as ‘A FIRST-OF-ITS-KIND’ facility which will change the face of mental health care in South Wales at Llandough Hospital, providing therapy and recovery for adults experiencing mental health issues.

As Supervisors our aim is to achieve zero-defects at Handover and to do this we regularly visited the site and issued early observation reports to all team members.

Canolfan S4C - Yr Egin

The new base known as Canolfan S4C forms part of Yr Egin - a 3,700 square metre building. Yr Egin will become the headquarters for S4C, a publisher-broadcaster that provides a comprehensive service of Welsh language content across a wide range of genres for all sections of the community in Wales, as well as home to a number of other companies and organisations working within the creative and digital industries.

Canolfan S4C Yr Egin is an exciting creative and digital centre that will be based on the University of Wales Trinity Saint David’s campus in Carmarthen. The Yr Egin development will be at the heart of the community by providing opportunities for local people to enjoy the innovative and iconic building with state of the art facilities, also providing a café, auditorium and performance areas for the community.
